This Privacy Policy explains how Dolce Amo (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit, use our services, or make a purchase from dolceamo.com (the "Services"). We act as the "data controller" for the personal data described here.

- Order & transaction data: products purchased, order value, order number, and delivery details. Payment card details are processed directly by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor — we do not store full card numbers.

- Technical & usage data: IP address, device/browser type, and, only with your consent, analytics and session-recording data collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Communications: messages you send us via forms or email.
2. HOW & WHY WE USE YOUR INFORMATION (LEGAL BASES)

We share data only with trusted processors acting on our instructions: payment processors, shipping/fulfillment partners, email/marketing platforms, hosting providers, and analytics vendors (Smartlook). We do not "sell" your personal information for money. Under CCPA/CPRA, some cookie-based sharing for analytics/advertising may be deemed "sharing"; you can opt out via "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer.

If you are in Saudi Arabia or the UAE (PDPL), China (PIPL), Singapore (PDPA), Japan (APPI), or other jurisdictions, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, and withdraw consent for your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Cross-border transfers subject to PIPL are carried out with the separate consent and safeguards required by law.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

We maintain administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, and monitoring — consistent with recognized frameworks such as SOC 2 and, where applicable, NIS2 obligations. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where required by law.
